Mark Walsh has covered education issues in the U.S. Supreme Court and lower courts for more than 25 years. He previously served as Washington editor of Education Week, supervising coverage of federal education policy matters, as well as the 2004 and 2008 presidential and congressional elections. He also writes the Supreme Court Report column for the ABA Journal, the magazine of the American Bar Association. He is a regular contributor to SCOTUSblog, the website devoted to coverage of the Court. He has a degree in journalism, with a minor in political science, from Northwestern University.
